Haworth Parsonage in the village of Haworth, West Yorkshire, was home to the Brontë family from 1820, when Patrick Brontë was appointed curate there, until his death in 1861. All six of his children had predeceased him.
It was here, surrounded by the wild moorland which had a profound influence on their work, that his remarkable daughters, Charlotte, Emily and Anne, wrote some of the best-loved novels in the English language.
