Haworth Parsonage, in the Yorkshire village of Haworth, was home to the Brontë family from 1820, when Patrick was appointed curate there, until his death in 1861.
It was in this house, where from the earliest age they were given the run of his library, that Patrick Brontë’s extraordinarily gifted daughters, Charlotte, Emily and Anne, wrote themselves into literary history with a clutch of novels that have become some of the best-loved classics of English literature.
